The STORE BAELT was originally built in the year 1928 as a cargo sailing vessel. In 2002 it was completely converted into a two masted charter ship, whose home is the Dutch Wadden Sea and the Ijsselmeer.
The unusual high comfort on board of the Store Baelt promise an absolutely wonderful sailing trip. There are many different sitting accommodations on deck and in case of bad weather it is possible to roof the deck for a dry stay.
Under deck the cozy and maritime furnishing will make the ship feel like your home very fast.
The biggest highlight of the Store Baelt is the sauna under deck.
The crew is looking forward to welcome you on board. They will show you what it means to sail on a traditional sailing vessel in an easy and quick way.
