The Boekanier, which was launched in 1901, was in its first days a cargo Ship until 1989. At the End of the Eighties the Boekanier was rebuilt to a passengership and has been sailing since 1991.
Despite its renovation, she never lost her nostalgic character. It is a very cozy and stylish ship and promises you an atmospheric stay on board. The big highlight is the dry falling of the ship. As soon as the Water sinks and the Boekanier lies still on the bottom of the sea, you can run with your feet through the Watts.
Upon your return from the sea, the large cozy Lounge with its well-equipped kitchen below deck welcomes you and also the small bar with dispenser is a real eye-catcher. The cozy bright cabins are equipped with their own sink. The central heating gives you on cool days for a nice warmth. The ship is intended for "big and small". From safety to cozy sleep everything is there.
The Boekanier was honoured with the "GREENKEY" for an enviromentally friendly ship.
